Evangelia Kostopoulos was born and raised in Boston, MA, with roots from Sparta and Tripoli, Greece. Since childhood, Evangelia has made it a point to strive for her goals. She believes that if you put your mind to it you can accomplish your dreams.
She accomplished one of her first life goals by becoming an engineer and working for a company that reduces the transfusion risks associated with blood loss during traumas and surgeries. Evangelia graduated from Boston University in 2012 with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering. She works at Haemonetics in Braintree, MA as a Validation engineer in their quality department.
Besides her dedication and strong work ethic, Evangelia is very passionate about promoting Greek culture which she does through Greek dance. She travels around the country to various festivals, celebrations and seminars where she meets others who share the same passion.
Besides dance, Evangelia also enjoys swimming, gardening and spending time with her family.
Evangelia started dancing with the Metropolis of Boston Youth Dance Group (MYDG) from age 7. She has taught dance at various churches for the past 7 years. She is currently the instructor at St. Catherine's Greek Orthodox Church in Braintree.
